As a technology business, OpsBase has the opportunity for staff to work from home with a minimum of impact on effectiveness and service we provide to clients, which can all be done remotely. We implemented home working on 2nd March 2020 and all are following government guidance as it evolves. None of our team has shown any symptoms at this time.
While all of our customers are affected by the crisis, our hospitality customers are seeing the most extreme impact, with many forced to close their doors entirely. In order to do our part to alleviate the financial stress and minimise operational impact, we have given all customers a payment holiday so they are able to focus on what’s important without needing to worry about payments to OpsBase.
OpsBase is for many of our customers a primary method to ensure procedures are followed and standards enforced in the operational parts of the business, and so is well suited as a method to inform, educate staff, and implement new required standards into the business. To that end, we have created some Operations Templates to assist businesses with the fast implementation of new risk assessments and standards of cleanliness and disinfection. We have added them to customers’ accounts and will continue to develop resources to support customers as the situation develops.
Like everyone, we hope things will get back to normal soon, but in the meantime we’ll do our best to stay safe, stay positive and help others that need it. Together we’ll beat it!
